The holiday shopping frenzy has begun. My world is all about jewelry, all day, every day... designing it, making it, selling it, shipping it. I'm cutting out early today to head to Joshua Tree for a little R&R. Alex and I booked a room The Sacred Sands - a B&B run by an adorable couple. They have some great Yelp reviews so it seemed like a no brainer when we decided we wanted a little getaway. There are only 2 rooms in the whole place and we've got one with our name on it. Hallelujah! I'm really looking forward to the (cold) nights and all that star gazing. If I'm lucky I can convince Alex to stop at the DWR annex in Palm Springs on our way home.
