Rubie Green

For a while now, I've been more than obsessing over the amazing bedding that former Domino (rip) staffer Michelle Adams has designed for her organic textile company Rubie Green. This girl is my new hero. After landing a job at Domino before she even graduated from college, she went on to start Rubie Green with a mission, "to dress your surroundings in fabrics that represent vitality, energy, comfort and style, all while maintaining respect to the environment by using only 100% organic cotton." Don't you just love her!!

But wait... there's more. Michelle and her friend Patrick (the genius behind the lens for all of her pictures) are stepping up to the plate and filling the void in the shelter mag world and launching Lonny in Fall 2009:
In a time when shelter publications are turning their last pages...
OUR MISSION is to reopen the doors of accessible design. By embracing an online platform we provide inspiration at the click of a finger, directly connecting our readers to their favorite products and resources. Our freedom from page limits means that we can share more content in each issue, delivering an intimate look into the way people really live.
At Lonny, we value independent thinking and believe not in following trends but rather in making choices that lead to happiness. We believe that good design and affordable design can coexist and that true inspiration can be found in the teeniest of homes or in the grandest of spaces.
I love it! Sign me up!!!

all images c/o the amazing Patrick Cline (I wonder if he ever shoots jewelry) for Rubie Green
